Ecuador

Ecuador is a like a hidden gem.  Most people sadly skip by it on their South American itinerary.

This country has it all.  From wonderful mountains, volcanoes, and a sprawling coast line.  The colonial cities are a delight and villages authentic.  Time seems to stand still and the ancient traditions hold strong.
