This is a basic overview of the Monte Pindo hike map. This spectacular day hike is found in Galicia Spain near the city of Cee. This sacred mountain boasts views of the Death Coast and the Atlantic Ocean.

This area in Galicia is popular for those walking the Camino Finisterre Muxia route from Santiago de Compostela.

There are multiple hiking routes, but this Monte Pindo hike map follows the out-and-back trail from O Pindo village. I've also included notes on how to walk from O Pindo to O Fieiro.

Here is the out-and-back Monte Pindo hike map from the village of O Pindo.

⁉️ If downloading the map, please verify that the map is correct and follows the waypoints. Oftentimes, there are daily updates to the site, map platforms, and other external issues that may cause a bug in downloading. Be mindful that this map is solely for entertainment purposes. Always hike responsibly and respect the mountains by following a no-trace philosophy, avoid hiking alone, be conscious of the weather and personal limitations, and do not stray from the visible trail

How to Get to O Pindo

Cee has a super convenient bus station, which is why I usually always stay in Cee. Buses run frequently during the week and summer months.

There are frequent buses that depart from the Cee main bus station that drops close to the trailhead in O Pindo. Always arrive early to the station and purchase tickets from the bus driver.

🚐 Cee to O Pindo Bus Company: Monobus (XG817) Cee Central Bus Station | Duration: 15 minutes | Bus Ticket Price: €1.55 | Check the Monobus Schedule here

Verified taxis run between Cee and O Pindo, but cost around €20.

Alternatively, if visiting by car, there is a free parking lot at the O Fieiro trailhead.

Monte Pindo Trailhead to Giant

The Monte Pindo trailhead from O Pindo begins right behind the church. The trail is marked but it's best to follow along with an offline map.

The trail ascends past unique rock formations and boasts stunning views of the sandy coastline. The Giant is a great place to snap some photos.

  🥾 O Pindo Trailhead – Giant | Distance: 2.2 Miles | Duration: +/ 1 hour 45 minutes

Giant Rock to A Moa

From here follow the path and the Ruta 2 signboard to Pindo. The ascent is steep and the summit can be hard to find. Check-in with an offline map to stay on the path. A Moa is the summit of Monte Pindo and sits at an elevation of  2,057 feet. Do not attempt to visit the summit on days of extreme weather or wind.

  🥾 Giant – A Moa | Distance:  .6 miles | Duration: +/ – 40 minutes

Hiking Down Monte Pindo

There are two main options to come down Monte Pindo.

Return down to O Pindo on the same path (Routed on this Monte Pindo Hike Map)

Walk to O Fieiro and return to your car, or walk to Ezaro (Waymarks outlined on this Monte Pindo Hike Map)

The trail from A Moa to Fieiro is well-marked with yellow and white blazes. The trail is a lot less steep and is wider.

There is no public transportation here, so you'll have to arrange a taxi for pick up or walk along the quiet road to the Ezaro viewpoint and continue to Ezaro village with the Ezaro Waterfall to get back to Cee.
