Georgia.

Delicious Cuisine, Hiking Paradise, Where East Meets West in a Special Way. Unforgettable.

Georgia, the country, has it all. No, really. This small Caucasus country is somewhere in between East meets West. The bustling capital city of Tbilisi has a unique fusion of Turkish bathhouses, a splendid cafe culture, wine that competes with the top European wines, and remnants of a not so distant Soviet rule.

Georgia has an absolutely delicious cuisine, Khinkali anyone? The Caucasus Mountains are a hiker’s dream with alpine lakes, glaciers, and breathtaking villages. There’s not one, but two incredible wine regions. The Black Sea offers up a different kind of resort-like vibe.

Georgia can be explored through a variety of tours, but what I love most is visiting the country on my own terms by riding local marshrutka minivans, wandering the cobblestone streets of Tbilisi, sipping on wine, eating as much Khachapuri as humanly possible, and trekking through the diverse Caucasus Mountains and untouched valleys.

So, order that second glass of wine. Let that Georgia hospitality wrap its sweet arms around you.

Georgia, you are exquisite.
