The Hydro Flask Lightweight Wide-Mouth Vaccum Water Bottle has nice insulation and keeps cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot drinks warm for up to 12 hours. However, I’m only using it for cold drinks and opted for the 32 oz size.
The standard lid can be exchanged with the Hydro Flask Wide-Mouth Straw lid, Wide-Mouth Flex Sip lid, and Wide-Mouth Flex tops, but I love the original that I clip to my backpack for peace of mind.

The main reason for this switch was that while camping, my bamboo cutlery was burning when I used it for cooking. So, to help cut down on carrying cooking utensils and cutlery, I opted for this reusable stainless steel set.
So while Bamboo cutlery is awesome stocking stuffers for hikers, I recommend a stainless steel set like EcoVessels for campers and thru-hikers.
