Portugal.
Coastlines of the Wild Atlantic, Rolling Golden Plains of the Countryside, Castles and More Castles, Traditional Villages, and Islands that Feel Otherworldly. Apaixonar.
Portugal is fabulous. While most people stick to the Algarve Coast and visit Lisbon and Portugal, there is so much more to see.
Portugal’s most traditional region, the Alentejo, is filled with artisan villages, cork and olive trees, and hilltop castles. The central region is home to the myths of the Knights Templar and forgotten villages made from schist.
Move farther north to find Peneda-Gerês, the country’s only National Park. There’s also the impressive landscape of the Douro River Valley.
Don’t forget the island archipelago of the Azores and Madeira Island. Both offer stunning hikes and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Please explore Portugal beyond its main sights.
